CZ RIFLE 457 VARMINT SYNTHETIC

Built for the harshest weather conditions, the 457 Synthetic combines an extremely durable nitride finish with a black polymer stock and a muzzle threaded 1/2x20 UNF.
The new CZ 457 family stands out for its highly sophisticated modular design. Compared with existing models and competing products, it brings significant improvements across all key parameters, whether in terms of safety, accuracy or durability.
The advantages of the CZ 457 can be divided into three main areas:
Safety:
The safety has been moved to the right side of the action. Move the lever forward and a red dot will appear, indicating that the safety is off and the rifle is ready to fire.

Improved accuracy:
In general, CZ bolt-action rifles are extremely accurate. However, the truth is that the design legacy of the CZ 452 ZKM limited the options for modifying the trigger mechanism. CZ has already managed to solve this problem in several variants of the 455 family; as a result, CZ has introduced a new trigger mechanism for the 457 family that allows the user to adjust the trigger pull from 8 to 15 N. The trigger travel can also be adjusted between 0.5 and 7 mm.
One element that is often overlooked but plays an important role in accuracy is the firing pin weight. Compared with previous models, its weight has been reduced by more than 60%. This results in a shorter lock time, improving accuracy.
As for the actions, there has been a significant improvement across all CZ rifles, which is also reflected in the new rimfire models. For the 457 series, CZ has developed a new type of bedding that allows the screws to consistently secure the action and barrel inside the stock. Ergonomics have also been improved, providing greater comfort for the shooter.
Ergonomics:
In recent years, CZ has significantly improved its technologies, including procedures for surface-treating metal parts. The company's new products, including the new CZ 457 series, feature some of the most durable corrosion-resistant surface treatments on the market.
In addition, users will undoubtedly appreciate the improved trigger travel, achieved by redesigning the
