ZEISS SECACAM 3-WIDE ANGLE FOTOTRAPPOLA 4G

Key Features:

100° wide-angle field of view for broad coverage of feeding stations, nesting areas, and open trails

Closer minimum focus distance compared to the standard Secacam 3 — captures sharp detail from nearby subjects

Built-in 4G LTE with multi-roaming SIM for image transmission across 35+ countries at no extra roaming charge

32GB internal memory with USB-C transfer — no SD card required

60 black LEDs (940nm) with ZEISS IR Boost for invisible night-time illumination

H265 video compression for efficient storage and faster transmission without quality loss

Perfect For:

Garden wildlife monitoring — bird feeders, hedgehog highways, badger sett

Close-range feeding station observation where animals approach from multiple angles

Nesting box and den monitoring at short distances

Conservation surveys requiring broad scene coverage

Property and boundary security monitoring

Wide-Angle Advantage

The 100° field of view captures roughly 67% more of the scene horizontally compared to the standard 60° Secacam 3. This makes it particularly effective in situations where you need to cover a wide area from a short mounting distance — feeding stations, garden paths, or enclosed woodland clearings where a narrower lens would miss activity at the edges of the frame.

4G Connectivity and the ZEISS Secacam App

The integrated LTE module with multi-roaming SIM connects to mobile networks across 35+ European countries including the UK, with no additional roaming charges. The free ZEISS Secacam App delivers push notifications when new images arrive, lets you check battery level and signal strength, view your gallery remotely, and share camera access with other users. Optional subscription plans add AI-based animal recognition, video transmission, the “Colour the Night” recolouring feature, and the SecaTrack stolen camera locator.

Built for All Conditions

IP66-rated housing protects against rain, snow, dust, and temperature extremes from -20°C to +55°C. The tilting 1.9-inch display provides a live preview for quick positioning, and the dedicated TEST button lets you fire a test image to your phone to confirm alignment and connectivity before leaving the camera in the field. Power comes from 8×AA batteries (included), with optional Power Pack and Solar Panel accessories for extended deployment.
