L’HOT100 a mano allinea la cartuccia su un pilota specifico per calibro e asporta dosando finemente materiale all’esterno del collo della cartuccia. Questo aiuta con spessori di parete del collo irregolari, ma richiede un pilota scelto separatamente e un controllo di misurazione costante.

Uno strumento speciale per ricaricatori esperti che vogliono ridurre miratamente l’escentricità misurata. Il possibile beneficio è un rilascio del proiettile più uniforme; un gruppo di tiro più piccolo non è però garantito automaticamente.


Si adatta al tuo setup?


Si adatta bene Per ricaricatori di precisione con cartucce calibrate e allargate, micrometro per canna adatto e un pilota HOT100 corrispondente. Il supporto standard incluso copre diametri del fondello cartuccia fino a 0,592 pollici.

Si adatta meno bene Se lavori senza misurazione dello spessore della parete, ti aspetti un trimmer per colli o vuoi usare i piloti del Forster OT1010 montati sul trimmer. Questi sistemi di piloti non sono intercambiabili.

Limits and Avoiding Bad Purchases
The pilot is mandatory and not included. It must fit the actual internal diameter of the fully prepared case, not just the caliber name. Excessive material removal or cutting into the shoulder can weaken the case. The optional HOT100-102 is required for case base diameters from 0.593 to 0.812 inch.

Application, Care and Safety
Only process empty, unfired cases. Clean neck inside and outside, uniformly size and expand the case. Check pilot for light sliding fit, initially adjust minimally and measure all around. Turn slowly, never press on and never cut into the shoulder. Do not use damaged cutters or holders.


Frequently Asked Questions
Is a pilot included? No. A suitable HOT100 pilot must be selected separately. Is the caliber designation sufficient for selection? No. The decisive factor is the light sliding fit in the fully sized and expanded case. Do OT1010 pilots fit? No. HOT100 and OT1010 pilots are not interchangeable. How fine is the adjustment? The scale is divided into 0.001 inch; intermediate settings up to about 0.0005 inch are possible. Is the standard holder suitable for .50 BMG? No. The optional HOT100-102 is required for large suitable cases. Does the cutter need sharpening? According to the manufacturer, no; it is replaceable if damaged or worn.


Clear Purchase Decision: When pilot, case size, and measuring concept are established, the HOT100 is a precisely adjustable tool. Without these prerequisites, a matched complete setup is the better choice.
