In this design, part of the suppressor extends backwards over the barrel, allowing very good damping values with a short net length. In addition, the usual first-shot pop typical of other suppressors is reduced to an absolute minimum. Recoil and muzzle flash are also significantly reduced.The ERA® SILENCER can be easily disassembled: The thread inserts are replaceable. By exchanging the thread insert, the ERA® SILENCER can also be used on other firearms of the same caliber but with different barrel threads. Also included is a protective cap that is mounted at the rear end of the over-barrel suppressor. It protects the barrel thread and suppressor from damage caused by lateral forces and prevents dirt and snow from entering.The surface structure significantly reduces powder residue adhesion inside the suppressor. Externally milled longitudinal grooves provide the necessary grip during mounting and ensure faster cooling.The stepped design protects the sealing rings, as no contact with powder residues in the outer tube occurs during disassembly. Après des séries de maximum 10 coups, le silencieux doit refroidir suffisamment pour pouvoir être touché à mains nues !Informations sur les silencieuxDu point de vue balistique, l'utilisation de silencieux avec des munitions de chasse habituelles n'a pas d'influence - l'effet du projectile reste le même. La perception de l'environnement n'est pas non plus affectée. Les silencieux réduisent le recul ainsi que le bruit à la source. Cela protège également l'environnement (par ex. les chiens de chasse) des dommages auditifs. Ils atténuent presque complètement le feu à la bouche, ce qui permet, en cas de faible luminosité, de mieux percevoir la prise de visée et la direction de fuite du gibier. Avant de faire passer l'arme, le silencieux doit toujours être retiré pour éviter d'endommager les chicanes. De même, l'arme doit toujours être stockée sans silencieux monté afin de minimiser la corrosion dans le canon. Pour le nettoyage et la conservation des silencieux, les huiles pénétrantes sont recommandées.
