The Superior Pro Mens Jacket is engineered for hunters who demand exceptional performance from their gear. Whether stalking moose in autumn rain, moving silently through dense woodland, or enduring long hours during chilly mornings, this jacket delivers an optimal combination of weather protection, freedom of movement, and quiet operation—essentials for the most challenging hunts.
The latest generation of the Superior Pro builds on Alaska1795's best-selling hunting jacket, now enhanced with an improved fit, smarter details, and even greater comfort. The result is a technical hunting jacket that thrives throughout the whole hunting season.
Designed for Nordic hunting conditions, it stands up to sudden weather changes—rain, wind, and long days in the wilderness. The Superior Pro is equipped with the Alaska1795 APS membrane, providing 20,000 mm water column and 20,000 g/m²/24 h breathability. This windproof membrane keeps rain and gusts out, while excess heat and moisture are efficiently vented away from the body. The PFC-free water-repellent treatment prevents the outer fabric from saturating in wet conditions, helping the jacket maintain its breathability even on rainy days.
During stealth hunting and scenarios where every movement counts, material choice is crucial. The Superior Pro features a soft, brushed shell that’s developed specifically to minimize noise as you move through forests and undergrowth—giving you the edge in getting closer to game, moving silently and steadily as the distance shortens.
For demanding terrain and elevated pace, generous underarm ventilation zips allow you to boost airflow without removing the jacket, helping regulate your body temperature all day—no matter how active you are.
All essential gear remains within reach—two radio pockets, large front pockets with water-repellent zippers, a spacious back pocket, and an interior zipper pocket ensure plenty of room for radios, gloves, hats, ammunition, and other equipment. Dual radio pockets suit both right- and left-handed shooters, offering flexible options for your communication devices. The oversized back pocket is especially appreciated for stowing extra layers, seating pads, or additional gear you need during a long hunt.
Adaptability is key: the adjustable hood, cuffs, and hem let you fine-tune the jacket for changing weather and your choice of layers underneath. The ergonomic fit enables full freedom of movement—ideal for shooting, climbing, or active motion through varying terrain.
