The larger viewing window makes it easier to quickly reacquire the red dot during rapid fire sequences. The sight uses the established SHIELD footprint, for which a wide range of compatible direct mounts and adapter plates are available. The robust aluminum housing combines low weight with a durable construction. The electronics are powered by a CR2032 battery.
