This case is designed to carry and display the very best guns. Built on a superior construction, seasoned oak frame, each shell is carefully hand finished and then it is covered with a full grain cowhide Premium leather. It features an obsessive attention to details and a classic, timeless style. Key locks, corners, handle attachments are solid brass with glossy finishing. The soft leather handle allows a comfortable carry. Two strong leather straps ensure a safe fastening of the case during transit. The interior is made of oak wood as well, and finely lined with genuine baize felt, with compartments for two stocks, two pair of barrels of side-by-side or over-and-under up to 77 cm (a reducer for 72 cm barrels is supplied), snap caps, oil bottle, cleaning rods. There’s also a handy compartment with lid, to store other accessories, such as Gunsmith's screwdrivers, rod brushes and so on. This case is a proper way to carry a fine gun, but it is also an excellent way to display it: if fitted with the classic gun accessories, it enhances the gun to a high level. It comes with a very heavy canvas cover with leather corners and piping, to protect the case during transit. Colours available: tan leather with blue baize; redish brown leather with blue baize; dark brown leather with blue baize. Available also for shotguns with 72 cm barrels, Mod. 1003/UG01D.
