The L7AWM® GEN 2 Advanced Warfighter Magazine® is constructed from lightweight polymer with hardened steel feed lips that wrap completely around the magazine to maximize stiffness and reliability while preventing dimpling in the front of the magazine. A switchable drain lock in the floor plate comes standard on all L7’s, allowing the user to configure the magazine for marine applications or extremely dusty conditions. Featuring a new, precision engineered, hardened steel feedlip geometry and advanced floorplate lock design, the new L7AWM GEN 2 delivers optimized cartridge stacking, enhanced round presentation, exceptional round retention, and bulletproof feeding performance and reliability. Our newly designed GEN 2 feedlips won’t wear, bend, crack, deform, or split under heavy sustained fire, extreme temperature cycling, or extended storage, creating a magazine that is tough enough for military, law enforcement, and competition applications.
