Enforce Tac is an annual trade show aimed at authorities with security responsibilities and held in Nuremberg, Germany. The show has gained growth and relevance in recent years and will have an area of 22,200 m² in 2023, a significant expansion compared to 2019 when the area was 13,730 m². The show is attended by decision makers from various industries and provides a platform to showcase innovative products and services offered by exhibitors.

Enforce Tac is also an important venue for startups specializing in the security and defense industry. Event director Isabelle Teufert emphasized that the show promotes knowledge transfer within the industry and acts as a driver of issues currently affecting the industry. Startups will have the opportunity to showcase their products within the newly expanded Demonstration Area and be featured on YouTube's Enforce Tac TV.

BayStartUP GmbH will be represented in a dual role at Enforce Tac 2023. Christoph Rommel will not only moderate the startup pitches in the Demonstration Area, but will also give a presentation on the different collaboration opportunities between industry and startups. According to Rommel, the attitude of startups toward military technology has changed, especially due to the Ukraine conflict. Although startups focusing on the military sector are still rather rare, sporadic spin-offs in this area are already being seen.

The state of Bavaria also plans to provide half a million euros for the new specialization field at Bayern Innovativ in order to build a broad network of business and science for research on future topics as well as with start-ups. Bayern Innovativ GmbH invites to the "Bayern Innovativ TechHub Lunch" on the second event day of Enforce Tac 2023 to present the TechHub's offer and to promote the motivation for its establishment.

Enforce Tac is only open to government officials and trade visitors. The fair provides a platform for knowledge transfer within the industry, the presentation of innovative products and services, and the networking of companies and start-ups. The fair thus strengthens the innovative power of the security and defense industry and promotes cooperation between business and science.
